Screening and Characterization of Chitinolytic Bacteria from Shrimp Waste
نویسندگان
چکیده
Shrimp waste is a perishable material. The degradation process carried out by decaying microbes producing degrading enzymes. presence of chitin content in shrimp causes the emergence chitinase enzyme-producing bacteria. Chitin linear homopolymer composed N-acetyl-D-glucosamine monomers with -(1,4) glycosidic bonds. has unique properties, namely; biodegradable, biocompatible and non-toxic. This its derivatives to be widely used various industrial biomedical applications so that have great economic value. There were 10 isolates chitinolytic bacteria from varying morphological characteristics. ten bacterial NR02, NR03, NR04, NR05, NR06, NR07, NR08, NR09, NR10, NR11 PU01. Chitinolytic index CI value > 2 was produced 4 isolates, NR09 lowest IK generated NR08 0.01. obtained different characters it very likely they come types

Production and characterization of chitosan from shrimp waste
Chitosan has been produced from shrimp waste by chemical method involving demineralization, deproteinization and deacetylation. The quality of chitosan depends on the conditions of the chemical extraction process. The results showed that 3% HCI and 4% NaOH were suitable concentration for demineralization and deproteinization, respectively at ambient temperature (28±2 o C). Chitosan with a high ...
متن کاملIsolation, Screening and Characterization of Hyaluronidase Producing Bacteria
Hyaluronidase has a panoramic use in biotechnology processes and therapy due to its therapeutic, pathophysiological, physiological and biological importance. Since much of the preparations of hyaluronidases are from animal source (bovine and ovine testicular sources) with limited sources of microbial origin, that prompted the authors to screen and isolate a new promising bacterial strain ...
